Ok, but on the small side

My 11, 10 and 8 year old kids who are small and thin are a bit big for these. The width is fine but they seem short and look a little funny when on because of this. However, the price is good and if you wont be wearing them a lot theyre probably "good enough" if your kids arent picky.

A bit small but still a good PFD

Small but still rated for my daughters weight. It does allow her to use the kayak paddles better by not being in the way.

Excellent floatation!

Bought this for my 5 year old son who is 42 lbs. He was too big for the smaller size, and this size worked tightened up as much as it would go. The only negative is that it did ride up on him, but he did not seem to mind. We used it in the Gulf and in the pool.

too small, even for 3 year old

Ive read other reviews that said that it was small, but ordered it anyway as some said that it was OK. It didnt fit my 7 year old (~60lb) nor my 3 and half year old (~40lb) :-(. Both of them complained right away that it is too tight around the neck even with the buckles openned as much as possible. Definately a return. Quality seems good, but it is not usable...

Excellent life jacket!

I was worried after reading reviews that it wouldnt fit my 10 year old. However when it arrived I was pleased that what I had read was incorrect.
Excellent life jacket - easy to use and secure - added to our sense of safety on the boat knowing that we had our own life jacket and not some generic sized one from the tour company. Thank you!

Too small for 8 year old

It is a good product, except it was too tight for my 8 year old son (75Lbs). I expected to use it for at least 2-3 years, but it looks like we will need a new one next year. Overall quality is very good, the vast dries up within 20 min in case you get into water. I would recommend to buy it at 40 Lbs to be able to use it for several years, it seems durable enough to sustain several seasons of boating.

Although i have not yet thrown Junior overboard to test actual flotation, this is a decently constructed comfortable vest that represents good value for price.

tight and bulky

this is a cheap and effective back up life vest which works well in a boat or on a canoe if your kid is not feeling too active. However, for an active kid in a kayak or canoe it rides a little high and is too bulky. My kids found it quite uncomfortable to wear and also a little on the small side. I give it three stars for the price but will probably replace it next year.

I expected alot lower quality due to price, however this product is great. It is better than most brands I found in stores and yes extremely cheaper.

Nice Vest But Seems Small

The Life Vest is nice, however, it seems to fit on the small size. This is my first life vest purchase but my girls are at 50 pounds and I dont see how it will fit them at 60 plus pounds.
